Before cooking and food, came fitness and health.
Originally from Brooklyn NY, I graduated from Fordham University in 2009 with a degree in Entrepreneurship and left the city upon graduation to move half way across the country to the good ol’ Midwest. And now, after ten years of helping clients lose pounds, gain strength, and add years to their life, I’ve changed tracks to pursue cooking, service, and hospitality.
Enter The Culinary Institute of America, where I’m currently a candidate for an Associates Degree in Culinary Arts.
If I think back to all my best memories, they involve food. Either the meal itself - like finding a hidden spot in a random town, or the people I shared the meal with around the table. And during my decade long career as a coach, I stood on my soap box and talked about the important of healthy eating and proper nutrition to my clients. Fitness may be in my blood, but food is the way to my heart. I saw the impact what you put in your body made, not only how you looked and your results, but how you felt and performed. It was the fuel that drove the machine, the gas to the Ferrari.
I am a creative and curious person at heart. Along my path of entrepreneurship I’ve written books, dabbled in real estate and am an inventor. I’m excited for the opportunities to come, the experience I continue to soak up, and the people I meet along the way. I live my life as an open book and this is my chapter 2.
